Thanksgiving Mars

Here are a few snaps of Mars taken during the Thanksgiving week. All done with the Mak 10 at f/22 with Tak extender and Player One Mars-C camera. The north polar cloud cap is quite interesting.

Thank you everyone. The Mak 10 is IMO the finest of AP instruments.
Here's a Saturn almost live, with on the fly wavelets processing at the telescope with Registax. Cell phone shot off the notebook screen. Hard to do visual on the planets with these kind of "Polaroid" moments.

Really great capture. Of the planets Saturn is one of my favorite subjects as it always causes one to wonder what the view is from the opposite vertical plane no matter its position when viewed. -Best, Robert

It’s terrific to see people like you – and so many other Astronuts – having a great time with their equipment and hobby. Thanks for letting us take a peek, as well. Saturn is looking lovely. Karen AP
