Alain, I love this shot! Really nicely handled in the fainter areas. If it were me, I would take the raw data, stretch it again in a new rendering but with a goal of only seeing the core and retaining detail there (including the Trapezium). Then in Photoshop (or other software) you can ask it to treat the two files together and produce an HDR outcome that gets the best of both. Worth trying I think.
