Got the Cone point socket head screws for Stowaway

Thought I would post a pic of my cleaned up Stowaway focuser after replacing the dove-lok set screws with the new socket head ones. It’s a nice little improvement for those of us that have little use for the extra astro-foto hardware and want better finger access in the dark!
For those wondering about the giant set screws, they are 155EDF screws repurposed to give me the extra torque without killing my fingers to clamp down on big visual extras like a Binotron 27 with two large EP’s. Starlight sent me replacement set screws to better control the entire focuser rotation too. They have flat aluminum tips instead of nylon. I only needed to use one of them in the top center position to add the extra binding to lock it all up.

I did the same thing for mine, but with regular set screws from the local Ace Hardware.  It really cleaned the back of the scope up and is a nice modification for visual only users like me.
