Re: AIC 2022
The one thing I'd like to see is an adaptive optics module, not just to aid in guiding but to improve visual observation and imaging.

I think Roland said that FASTMAX was hard to make no? I guess my point is that in my early sixties I am looking for somewhat easier challanges that give me significant satisfaction. Is there

"Would love to see another version of the FASTMAX 180 F4.5."
Ditto! Somehow I missed out on the previous offering. Would love to have one.

I'm guessing it's the flat field converter we've been hearing about for several years. What scopes it will be compatible is another mystery. -Best, Robert

I got a note today saying Losmandy isn't going either. However, AIC still shows both AP and Losmandy in the exhibition hall on their webpage. Brings up the question of how many vendors are actually

Thank you Arun! I’m partial to natural colour images too. But we can’t ignore the subtle structures that NB show us. So I do both.

Both are nice, but the RGB version really stands out with the very natural colors and subtle transitions. Very well captured and processed!

While the Galaxie 500 didn’t have an extender, it was “convertible”, which opened it to the heavens. I also have a moderate to low level of confidence Roland owned a Supernova Red ‘65 Galaxie

Ford made a Galaxie 500 in the ‘60s. Multiple options, but no extender. Achieved the dubious distinction of being mobile but not portable.

I've got to get one. I bought a de-lite eyepiece and I keep saying I'm
